Social Skills Improvement System
The Social Skills Improvement System (SSIS) includes screening, comprehensive assessment, and intervention materials for social skills, problem behaviors, and academic competence. The SSIS spans from preschool through high school.
Participants will learn:
- The components of the SSIS system spanning from universal screening and intervention to targeted assessment
- How to implement the program in a Three Tier RTI model
- How to evaluate skills and behavior in depth through the rating scales for teacher, parent, & student
- How to link assessment results to intervention
This workshop is aimed at participants with little or no background in this topic.
